Until the most recent episode, I was an avid watcher. Max fighting the system is inspiring. But, this episode, he lost his mind. Taking down the pictures was one thing, but throwing them in the trash bin was too much. And tossing the awards in on top of them was even worse. New Amsterdam Hospital wouldn't exist without the men whose pictures were on the wall. They didn't create Racism, they were Doctors doing the best they could under the system that existed during their time. To toss them onto the trash heap dishonors their contributions and their memories. The United States of America would not exist, with all its flaws, without a bunch of old white guys (some of whom owned slaves) who created a Constitution that enabled our country to grow and change. The current trend seems to be that the past must be erased because it wasn't perfect. In erasing the past we are throwing out the good with the bad, at our own peril. I am not asking anyone to boycott your show or your network, I am just choosing to not watch it my self.
