This game is the worst instalment of the franchise for a while. It’s buggy, unpolished and plays very poorly. The campaign is boring and unimaginative. The story is based entirely around references and callbacks to the original ‘Black Ops’ game. They’ve clearly run out of ideas and the gameplay also makes it feel that way. The multiplayer is awful. Skill based matchmaking turns playing the game into a chore. Losing 6 games in a row against the elite players when you’ve played the game for only 2 hours is simply not enjoyable. Every game just feels like a grind where you can’t have any fun. The zombies modes are okay. Good if you’ve got friends, frustrating if you don’t. The whole game just feels rushed and very boring. I’ve probably had less than 5 minutes of fun playing this game. If I could get a refund, I would. In short, this game is seriously lacking and it’s predecessor, Modern Warfare 2019, outshines it in every single aspect. Don’t bother.
