This show is a huge disappointment. (I just finished S1E3). I had high expectations considering the fact that I have liked or loved everything in the MCU thus far. Falcon and Winter Soldier I can barely sit through. Pros: Great actors (thought their talents are wasted here). Red Wing is cool. Some action sequences are good. Some cool 1940s music and references. Sweet costume design. Cons: Poor writing. Storyline moves way too fast, so character decisions don’t make sense. The dialogue is often boring and it is super obvious that some characters are just there to explain what’s happening, not even in a cool way. You know how annoying it is when villains monologue? At least 50% of the scenes give you that same annoyed feeling. Some of the plot lines have potential, but style and pace of the storyline don’t sell it at all.
