One of the worst movies ever made! I would give it a 0-star rating if I could. I had to turn it off 1/3 of the way in, I just couldn't even bring myself to finish it. I honestly would have turned it off much sooner but kept waiting for it to get better. But instead it somehow (surprisingly) just kept getting worse. Such a disappointment because I LOVED the first Suicide Squad movie and was so excited for another one. Especially with so many talented actors and actresses, it's truly a let down on every level. Most of the characters in this movie were absolutely ridiculous, like the villain guy with the weird things coming out of his head (not to mention the starfish!!), polka dot man, the rat controller chick, and then they killed off the characters who could have actually been good at the very beginning... really?! Plus the story line was rushed and made zero sense at any point in time. You can't leave so many holes in the story line (like about what happened since the last movie) if you're going to keep any of the key characters from the first movie. And if you're going to add so many new ones, you have to develop their characters at least a little bit! I honestly can't believe it has such good reviews on IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes. I've lost all faith in "critics" for giving it positive reviews period, but especially in seeing that it rated higher than the first film... I think someone must've paid them a HUGE amount of money. I don't get it ...
