I loved this show, my all time favourite Korean drama so far. Really great acting from the male lead, very romantic and good music. Not sure about the female lead, warmed to her but not immediately. I love the other side stories equally romantic and soppy. However, one of the male leads was a walk over and didn't really explain his situation clearly which was disappointing. I would highly recommend, please watch.

I just finished watching this show and loved it, the acting, scenery, plot was amazing. However 51 episodes were a lot to endure. The ending was so different and not what I was expecting. It was refreshing that the main female character survives until the end and fights to see another day. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys period Chinese/Korean dramas. No sexualised scenes and all above board apart from the fighting and torturous scenes.
