I got a chance to listen to The Cure purely by chance as I absolutely loved "Lovesong " from the movie "Fifty first dates" starring Adam Sandler..The found out it was a cover version and the original was by The Cure-a band i had no knowledge about As I digged into their albums,the sound seemed fresh and touching..They were a rare rock band that made very personal songs. Then found they had released no new material for a very long time..used to check if any new material was dropping from them. Listening in now to "Songs of a lost world" ,it truly feels that the songs are from an era that no longer exists and it's good to be back there..Music and lyrics used to mean something then and not just a gateway to streaming success Get ready to have one of the most emotional and real experiences while listening to the album.All songs are so good..my personal fave is "I can never say goodbye" Really looking forward to their next albums now.

This is a true 5/5 experience. Vikram Kumar is one of the very few writers in the country who knows how to flesh out unconventional subjects beautifully.What seems a quirky comic caper (5 women/girls seeking revenge over a common enemy with the help of a revenge books writer) turns into a full blown family entertainer .All the threads are neatly tied up.Most of the twists were genuinely surprising . Everyone in the cast and crew has done their job superbly. The music esp Hoyna song is awesome. It is heartwarming to see such a positive emotions filled movie in this day and age

What a goal! This movie reinforces that Hindi cinema is an extremely powerful medium ,if used properly. Fabulous cinematography,impeccable casting, super performances (by all) ,rousing music and absolutely fantastic football matches (!)...The movie deserves multiple accolades.It also shows a mirror to the cricket crazy Indian public that being a world champion in a sport hardly 20 countries play is nothing..We were ahead of nations like S Korea,Japan nearly 62 years back and look at the state of Indian football now.. The failure of this movie at the box office only shows how the insanity of blindly following only cricket has crept in with audiences. Dont miss it and watch it on the largest screen possible..

Have seen a lot of Ravi Teja flicks but had felt somewhere around Nippu,his films stopped being much fun or thrilling (a la Kick) but there appears to be a comeback of sorts happening. Disco Raja has a novel concept for Indian films (a frozen man coming back to life after 35 years!) and delivers for the most part-There are some genuinely suprising twists but it looks like the movie took on a lot of stuff,towards the end.Having seen movies like Encino Man ,this concept could have led to a superb plot.. Liked the flashback portions (with a menacing disco loving Ravi Teja) and Thaman's music but the ending left a lot of things hanging.Looks like the makers saved a lot of ideas for the sequel but considering this movie was not a success ,we may never get it.Would have loved to see the direction Disco Raja 2 would have taken.
