What a load of amateur rubbish. I get the sense that this was written by a young writer with seemingly no grip on how things might be done in real life. Who in their right mind would send a bunch of undisciplined and seemingly untrained people into space on a (probably multi-million dollar) spacecraft toward an alien race with unknown intentions?? They are the ones tasked with saving the planet??? - Really? In real life, NASA train people hard to stay disciplined, professional and in control of their emotions in the hardest of conditions because they would have to rely on their training when help is out of reach. I couldn't suspend disbelief long enough to get through even the second episode.
