Easily one of the best pokemon games to come out recently. It's actually fun to play and flows really nicely between battle, exploration and capture. If there were a larger variety of quests as well as core pokemon mechanics like gyms this would be the perfect pokemon game. The one star reviews don't help this franchise at all even though i understand the frustration, but I think overall this is a long overdue step in the right direction.

Game is beautiful, but mechanics are excruciating 60% of the time.
