As someone who has been following the series, Toy Story 4 is a definitely must watch! It tells the story about the toys after Andy left them with Bonnie, and also tells a lot about Woody's character growth. But bear in mind, this movie is not for new fans. It's more aimed towards those who have at least watched Toy Story 3 (much better if you've watched all the previous ones to get the sentiment in the movie)
