This book has left me with a heavy heart and I think this is it's main accomplishment considering its theme. The way that this book explains the family's tragedy is so fascinating and heartbreaking at the same time. Her relationship with her father especially brings me to tears. And the fact that the story is narrated in Susie's perspective makes it all the more fascinating. A brilliant book in my opinion. A must read👍👍. But i would say it is not a book for people who are in habit of reading happy go lucky stories. Since it explains the bitter reality of our society and the irrefutable fact that is death.

From the start to an unexpected end this book will definitely keep you hooked. The Silent Patient is a brilliant example of the best and most intriguing thrillers I have ever read. By the end of the book, you will definitely find yourself thinking, "I did not see that coming". The discription of certain characters makes you feel like you are starting to know them well but at the same time you find yourself questioning if you really do? Nonetheless if it is a mind blowing psychological thriller you are looking for, then this is the book for you.

This is definitely one of those books which you just have to read at least once. The beautiful settings, mesmerising dialogues and very unique characters make it worth the read. The writer Elif Shafak has once again given us a masterpiece in the form of this book which is definitely going to stay with you even after you have finished reading it.
