I advise the producers to be legally correct, in that, I have 3 advices: 1) panchayat has no powers to deal with divorce cases, so even if it grants divorce to Nimki, it is illegal which means her marriage to any one (may be BDO Babu) would be illegal. Therefore, Nimki must get divorced only through Court, 2) No one, can force any one to present himself/herself before a Panchayat. Therefore, if any one does so ( BDO Babu is planning to drag Babbu in Panchayat), he/she can be charged with a criminal offence, and the charge would be viewed more strictly if the person is an incumbent government official (the BDO Babu), and 3) the services code of conduct prohibits incumbent Government officials from personal indulgence in private matters of persons, such as the BDO Babu in the instant case barging into Tetar Singh's House time and again to show his solidarity with Nimki and now planning to redo it by dragging Babbu into the Panchayat. He can be dismissed from service for such acts. Therefore, I sincerely request the producers to be legally correct as not only does it send the wrong message to the audience, but also would imperil Nimki's re-marriage.
