Absolute garbage in all aspects, the action is boring, the story is boring, and it doesn't live up to the game in the slightest. To be specific on it not living up to the game, in the beginning they movie makes hunter out to be useless with them all just getting knocked around the boat and killed (they also would've have been watching closely if something was coming up on them it wouldn't have taken the Diablos attacking them to notice),and they also seem bad at what they do when they say they can't kill a Rathalos which is slightly below mid-tier in the games. Also they're supposed to speak English, and this part really bugged me because it was very a annoying part of the movie, I'd have liked there to have been more than 1 charcter with more than 10 lines. They also don't show off the weapons well at all and ignore some of their functions or just whole weapons. The last major thing I had a problem with was them padding out about 40 minutes of the run time with the humans ending up in their world, which I'll add is very annoying as a player as well because a normal human would never be able to do what a hunter does, they are genetically modified to be able to pull off swing around swords the size of their body's and thus Artemis should never have been able to put up a fight against the nameless hunter. And the lore of the games is pretty full and doesn't need humans to meddle in it and just make it worse.
