It builds up beautifully. The last shot stays with you. It's one of the very few flawless films. De Niro and Pacino obviously are magnificent. Michael Mann is a master. The camerawork is stupendous. One shot where the camera pans from the skyline to a street in a single take is breathtaking. The best cop-criminal movie of all time. Special shoutout to the background score.

This movie is sheer brilliance. A tight story, wonderful performances and great music. One can also see the eccentric sense of humour of RGV. Brahmanandam's cameo is brilliant.

Stunningly tragic, dark, and poetic it grips you from the first frame and then you cannot look away. Everything is pitch perfect. Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard are excellent. They were born to do this. Easily the best Shakespeare adaptation so far.
