Black Widow did NOT disappoint!! We should have gotten this years ago. Ever since I heard the possibility of Natasha's own solo movie, I was thrilled. And knowing the release date just added to the anticipation. I know a lot of us were worried that this movie wouldn't live up to our lofty expectations, but it absolutely exceeded them! Black Widow was amusing, intense, and entertaining. It possesses its own gritty distinctiveness while appearing to blend in well with the rest of the MCU. Scarlett Johansson then delivered an outstanding performance. It truly saddens me that this will be her final appearance on the big screen as Natasha Romanoff. As for Florence Pugh, as Yelena, it was just chef's kiss. She gave her all to this charming character. I gonna love seeing Yelena more in the MCU. Not to mention Rachel Weisz and David Harbour. They were also fantastic on-screen, contributing to the family-like dynamic with Scarlett and Florence. Overall, this is a film that everyone should see. It features an excellent soundtrack, CGI, and combat sequences. For the first time, I feel like I'm finally seeing a non-objectified portrayal of Natasha.

This movie did not allow COVID to steal its shine. Wonder Woman 1984 continues what the first movie did. You sense and experience a lot of emotions while watching it. The Pros: * Use of color * soundtrack *castinig * humor * specific details/easter eggs * post credit scene The main take away from this movie is how gorgeously shot it is. Director Patty Jenkins did such a great job with the ambiance and vibes of the film. Both Wonder Woman movies easily accomplish the vibe of the decade they are set in. And, Patty's smart and fierce use of color represents the 80s sooooo well. The soundtrack of the movie also adds to the brilliance. As for the cast of the movie, everyone killed it especially Kristen Wiig!!!! I was nervous before thinking about how hard it will be to correctly show Baraba's transformation into Cheetah in one film. Kristen was excellent. She played both the socially awkward and later ferocious woman well. I believed her throughout the entire film. Pedro Pascal also did a great job portraying the power-hungry Maxwell Lord. The transformation his character took should also be praised. Additionally, with all these great transformations, the film includes minute but essential details that help along with the transitions. The devil is in the details. The film even dove into more details on the lives/lore of the Amazonians. I enjoyed that. Lastly, I can't forget about Gal Gadot. She was amazing as always!!!!! Cons: * The outfit that Baraba (Kristen Wiig) wears right before she is Cheetah (white house scenes) is not great. Personally, I just really hated that outfit. It was horrendous but for some reason, I felt like the movie wanted me to like it. P. S. The film also tends to drag. It definitely shouldn't have been 2 hours and 30 minutes long. And the CGI tends to be too much at times.

A never-ending loop. Tenet is an exhilarating and mind-boggling movie to watch. It's about a secret agent who embarks on a dangerous, time-bending mission to prevent the start of World War III. This movie .......I don't know how to describe how I feel about it. I watched it yesterday and being honest I feel like I have a better understanding of the movie now than while I was watching it in time. And that's not a bad thing! Most of Christopher Nolan's films make me feel this way. This movie is very complex in a good way. There are so many layers and seeing them all unfold and intertwine during the movie was really interesting. I love the complexity of the characters too. Each new face you see on the screen, you pay close attention to. With, that being said, each character is well developed even the antagonist, Andrie Sator (Kenneth Branagh). My major pet peeve is when the quote on quote bad guy is just that ...a bad guy. Kenneth Branagh did a good job making me intrigued by the backstory of his character and trying to figure out his thinking. I also liked watching the scenes between his character and Kat (Elizabeth Debicki). You could always feel the tension between the two, and you believed whatever emotions they were acting out. It made you feel uncomfortable for Kat to be around Andrie, but that is the point. I think the arc that they gave Kat toward the end was great. I also loved the dynamic between Neil (Robert Patterson) and "The Protagonist" (John David Washington). They just clicked. You could see the blooming of friendship on-screen. I loved it. Now the action scenes in this movie are going to be talked about and analyzed for a long time. I think these scenes were what I enjoyed the most out of the whole movie. This movie changes the way you perceive and think about motion. The fights could be viewed in so many ways, and each would convey something totally different. And the cinematography. Not only was this a cool concept, but it was an aesthetically pleasing movie to look at. Every angle felt intentional, and it was so cool to see the way Christopher Nolan portrayed time going backwards on screen. Christopher Nolan's mind is beautiful. I think everyone should watch this movie sometime. If you like movies that have many layers and easter eggs, this is the movie for you. You won't stop thinking about this movie for days. Everything is connected; a never-ending loop.

If you are looking for an action-packed movie with interesting camera angles and a great soundtrack, then this is the movie for you. The first thing I noticed when I started watching this movie was the cool camera angles/shots. The way they specifically decided to shot and zoom in at different points of the film added to the overall vibe. Additionally, the overall aesthetic built off of this. The bright background and interesting filming choices were the 1st things that made me want to be in this world. The fact that this movie gives a new twist of the storyline of mutant type people who have cracked the secrets of evolution, ......you would expect them to show us powers. Well, they delivered. For a Netflix original, this had GREAT CGI. I really enjoyed the way they showed how the "Power" (pill) affected its users on a molecular level. Alongside that, the sequences of people using their powers and fighting were full of action. Now, I also enjoyed the main cast. Both Art (Jamie Foxx) and Frank (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) had a great dynamic with Robin( Dominique Fishback). They both seemed to be very protective over her even though they've both only known her for a little bit. And, each character had a good background story especially Art. Overall, this movie for me is 9.5/10. I want more of this movie.....of this concept. P.S. Guys the soundtrack was hitting and Robin can rap.

On a scale of 1 to 10, this movie is a 9.3. There is room to improve but overall it hits really well. The actors for the main cast were great. I love the feel of their dynamic. They each play well off each other making them seem like a family. Also the addition of Nile (Kiki Layne) works really well. She fits easily into the already established group. With the introduction of her into the movie, we were learning alongside her about the "immortal warriors". Additionally, Nicky (Luca marinelli) and Joe(Marwan Kenzari) were one of my favorite parts of the movie. Their relationship felt sweet, humorous and loving to watch. Joe's commentary is hilarious throughout the movie while Nicolo/Nicky's calm and sympathetic demeanor balances him out. However, I do wish we could have learned more about them and their lives separately from each other. Nick especially since I felt he was heard less than the other characters. I guess I could say that for the whole cast. Hopefully, we see more of that in the sequel. Now the reason I didn't give this movie a perfect 10 is because I felt there were too many wide shots leading to the film feeling a bit flat to me.I think the cinematographer could of maybe played around more with different angle shots, color, and/or saturation. I was yearning for more depth and contrast between scenes. One last thing, they (the music directors) should also work on the soundtrack. Some songs didn't fit which was distracting. Overall, this is a fun movie to watch. The idea of "immortal warriors" is an interesting idea that almost anyone can be intrigued by. Also the fighting scenes are really another place were this film shines. I loved the fast tempo of the moves. All of Andy's (Charlize Theron) one of one fighting scenes with others were great.

On a scale of 1 to 10, this show is about an 8.4 I don't think you need to be an expert in Arthurian mythology to enjoy this show. I walked into this only knowing the basic legend/characters (such as Arthur, Merlin, Lancelot, and Guinevere. I didn't even know who the lady of the lake was before this.), and I was still able to fully enjoy the twists and easter eggs of the show. Now the first 2 to 3 episodes of the series weren't the best and were a bit cheesy, but they weren't horrible as some other people here are making them out to seem. After you get through them, the story becomes highly engaging and makes you very invested in the outcome of the characters. For me, Merlin stole the show. I want to know more and more about him, and all the years he has lived through. I LOVED, L-O-V-E-D, the way Gustaf Skarsgård portrayed the mystical magician. In fact, I appreciate overall how magic is depicted in this universe. I also loved Dof. He made me smile most of the time he was on the screen. And I shipped him and Pym. Now, I think Katherine Langford did a great job as the Fey Queen. Nimue was a very interesting character with a lot of layers. The cinematography was done well w/ the vibrant colors and intriguing shots, especially during the fight scenes. Because of this, I looked forward to all of the "Weeping Monk's " parts. The way the shots were done...Daniel Sharman made it seem so effortless while he was kicking everyone else's butts. Furthermore, I enjoyed the comic book transitions between the different storylines in each episode. That was something very new that I've never seen done before. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the CGI at times. Mostly in the first few episodes, it just didn't look high quality. But again, it gets better later in the series. It becomes less distracting as you watch along. Overall, I would give the story building and settings 8/10. I felt like I was in the universe. They did well trying to explain a little bit about each Fey tribe and the diversity of the people. I just wish we could learn more of them and the prejudice they fought against. Hopefully, that can happen in a possible 2nd season.
