This show was atrocious. As a child I had the first book read to me and I am now listening to the audiobooks for the rest of the series. I think on its own the show is interesting and if I had to watch it before the books I might have really liked it. But here is a difference between creative libraries and completely changing the whole story. First off Constance is two In the books, kate has long blond hair, sticky is supposed to be bald, Mr. Curtain should be in an electric well chair and have mirrored glasses, Martina Crow never goes to the good side or play's tetherball, and what is with S.Q? He is not supposed to be the adopted artist son of Mr.Curtain he is just kind of dumb in the books and those other two kids at the beginning are just made up also I bursted out laughing during Milligan's monologue because it was just so dramatic. This isn't to say that the show didn't have its good part I thought that the sets were amazing and I liked how the uniforms at the school didn't initially look like uniform until you took a closer look at them see that everything was meticulously designed which I thought was really clever because of the no rules but there are rules thing. I think that if the writers have paid attention to the base material that they were given which was quite extensive they could have created a masterpiece but instead, this is bordering on Percy Jackson movie-level insanity.
Sincerely a very opinionated 13-year-old
P.S. I understand why people are being so mean about the children that were roped into this train wreck, it is not the child actor's fault that the writing was so horrible.
