While not denying the talent and attention to detail this movie had , it's not a movie I'd watch over and over again. This is Kubrick at his best but not ment for an entertaining movie night . This is a movie you study not relax and watch . It's an amazing piece of art but not entertaining.i really wish I could give it two reviews, one on entertainment value and one on cinematic talent. Theres no doubt this movie is one of the best made films in history, just not something I'd watch to kick back and unwind

Anything less than 5 stars is smug. This is a master piece with beautiful character development, amazing action scenes and a tale that will make you appreciate what you have because of these brave men . This is single handedly the best war movie ever made . While a fictional tale, this feels more real than any documentary.
