Fred Mindlin

One of my favorite stories of all time. The story conveys the power of words like no other I've ever heard. I've been telling it as a storyteller for several years, after reading it aloud to my children and many others over the past three decades. I've looked for the author on the web several times, and never found any information. I also contacted the publisher to ask about permissions--the Green Tiger Press was sold a long time ago, and the successor company had not information about how to contact anyone there, or how to contact the author.
