The acting, story and cinematography all good. A bit too much filler of the man driving a car and the woman lying in bed among pillows. Could have been 10-15 minutes shorted without these things!

This film is supposedly about the artist Gerhard Richter. Very interesting view of Cold War east Germany vs West Germany. Loved the evil father - what an actor! Yes, watch it if you like art.

I love this film - from a book by James Baldwin! The film is sad but good to watch - great acting, cinematography....and it makes you stronger to fight injustice of every kind!
