Feels like the balance is off in terms of animation speed. Battle system is nothing special, pretty much dark souls. Problem is in a game which is primarily about counter attacking (meaning in boss-battles) your animations seem clunky and slow, sometimes taking a hit is kind of unavoidable. I wouldn't mind the small posture hit windows if the animations were at the same speed for both the user and the computer, but it seems like there's a narrow speed advantage the other way that you have to account for, which isn't necessarily "difficult" it's tedious and unnecessary. I feel they might patch that. That aside, the game isn't that hard. I don't see much of a comparison to Tenchu to be perfectly honest outside of character design and location and that's disappointing. I was hoping for more of a stealth game, this seems like it has stealth elements, but is far from what was marketed. Beautiful color pallet and cutscenes, good voice acting and the story's great so far. Love the ability to vault from surface to surface with the hook. Something addicting about that. Needs some balancing, then it should be pretty good.
