where walking dead took us to new places in unexpected ways, this series promised to show us the start, a prequel of how it all went down. Sure, it had to revisit themes but it had so much to work with that it surely could muster the creative fortitude to deliver something innovative and new. Instead it was whimpering version of the original show. It whined and meandered and ultimately grew bored of itself, at itself, and rebirthed itself to try to deliver something interesting and new. It failed in the second round as well. I could not follow it after season 4. It was not worth the ride to get to season 4 anyway. I am shocked that it continued.
