Completely ignores the amazing source material. (Books were written from 2001-2012.) Story is in every way wrong, casting was terrible, and for fans who actually READ THE DAMN BOOKS and loved the series, this is just as big of a slap in the face as The Last Airbender and Eragon was. If you've never read the books, do yourself a favor and read them before passing judgement on this shitshow. The books are perfect, and all are super engaging, ludicrously clever and imaginative reads. This movie is another typical Disney-fied child's nursery rhyme that completely ignores what the books were actually about.
