The core subject of the movie addresses the 'real situation' to which most, if not the entire, Japanese communities and individuals were faced with after the bursting of the bubble economy from late 1980s through the 1990s. The repercussions of that crisis is still felt today, decades after, with many still struggling to get over with their lives, as well as community living. Very resounding adverse effects that saddles Japanese economy are: overall (nationwide) decreasing population vis-a-vis the increasing aging population, compounded by the costs of societal maintenance. The movie gives inspiration as hope persists among those with the purest noble intentions to push and move on for the welfare of the young and old; community revival and survival, amidst some corrupt and greedy entities. A survival wrought from modern day man-made catastrophes. Kudos to the writer, producer, director, actors/actresses, and production staff.
