If you enjoy watching old men nearing their eighties trying to portray characters in their forties, this film is for you. The writing as well as the acting is wooden and cliched. Nothing to see here whatsoever.
The only possible justification for this tedium is Scorcese providing a final payday for all those actors, writers and crewmembers who contributed to his former great filmmaking. Why Netflix felt the need to indulge him in such an extravagant way should be grounds for their shareholders to question managements fiduciary duties.
A disaster of epic proportions.
