This movie based on a young boy who come to mumbai to become an actor.however he got lucky and sighned in big budget movie ...its a lite movie ..good movie to watch for only entertainment purpose..

Initial part of both first and second half is a bit faster but movie bores in rest of the first half and extremely faster that it misses details in rest of the second half. Ranbir and other actors did their parts well. Musical drama makes it unique but climax ruins all of the creativity done. Do not watch movie apart from blind fans. It just slush in the pearl shell in the depth of cinematic waters.

Script of usual classic time love story of a gangster served with awesome cinematography. Screenplay is a bit slow and creates boredom. Actors have done a great job apart from Karan Johar. Anurag Kashyap's incomplete masterpiece. Acting lovers must watch, but not for the average audience.

A love story of modern times but it gives feel of 70's classic. Daniel Radcliffe & Zoe Kazan look good together. Lack of intimate scene between them makes it a story of pure & innocent love story. Lovers must watch.
