This was down right terrible🤣 Fear the Night is another movie similar to this which was a little bit better than this. The acting was very b grade and the twist wasn’t surprising being how on the nose they were with whom the characters ended being part of the betrayal. All I got out of this was the actress that played the mother. She was fine as h*ll🤣

Don’t understand the hate for this movie. It was a hodgepodge of genres many like. The aesthetic was cool for what it was trying to portray. I know for a fact Naughty Dog had to take liberties from this film when they made Uncharted 1&2. If you swap the leads out and Dex could be a younger Sully. Frankie could be Chloe. I enjoyed it for what it was.

You would think seeing the image of a tiny girl with an axe fighting a giant as a cover scrolling through Hulu would be a fantastical adventure. You are thinking wrong and are being misdirected. I dislike how movie directors pull the bait and switch with titles. This movie was anything short of boring. The acting was very mid and unbelievable. I don’t have any problem with the subject matter but just the misleading. The same story could’ve been told without it. They got me with the movie poster and being I hate stopping movies I start. I finished this slog of a movie.

F**k This Movie 🤣 I’m tired of this trope of the man has to change but the women hide secrets🤣 The male lead was made to look selfish, immature and incompetent. While the female leads were made to show a journey of growth. The male lead was forced into faux growth just to get married to clearly a bad choice just like his ex. And the male lead really had to be adopted🤣 Nah black people cant have a thriving business in home decor/building. They could’ve kept this bulls**t🤣

The racial undertone to this movie wasn’t even needed🤣I saw the forest from the trees right out the gate. And being that this is a 1974 book adaptation 🤣 I nearly threw my drink across my room when Mr. Loomis said” go be two good white people together”🤣 I knew damn well that’s not even in the book without reading it🤣Margot was decent in this flick but this by far was a waste of time for me. The ambiguity of who really was benevolent or malevolent between the two male actors. Not knowing what caused the apocalypse. Just so much wrong with this movie. I assume the book is a lot better and I already knew Chiwetel Ejiofor was going to be the “bad guy,. Because they never let that brotha play anything but bad guys except when he’s playing a slave running for his life🤣Hollywood sucks man🤣

Movie was pretty decent until that god awful ending🤣 The laugh I had with that reveal🤣 Or I’m a complete sociopath at my old age🤣
