I saw it was a movie so decided to read the book since it was on my bookshelf and was a quick read. So a couple of evenings and I was done. Watched the movie with my hubby. What a disappointment. They could have made this spectacular, along the lines of The Neverending Story. So many crucial parts of the book were missing. It was jumbled together and made little to no sense to the people I watched it with who hadn't read the book. Fail Disney. epic fail! People. Just read the book and let this movie sit unwatched on Netflix.
