This movie is incredibly underrated. While the script may have been cringey at times, the actors, especially Hayden Christensen, pulled off the movie to the best extent possible. People who say that this movie is terrible fail to realize what circumstances the actors were out under. With a bad script, Hayden was still able to act in an entertaining way. I strongly encourage others to watch this movie, for I got many good laughs, and the plot was genuinely good. It is also crucial to watch this movie in order to understand what pressures young padawan sky walker was out under before he turned to the dark side in Revenge of the Sith. I idolize fellow Hayden Christensen and feel so honored to have witnessed his Oscar winning acting.

The core concept of this movie was heartbreaking, however, the execution was terrible. There were many unnecessary/unrealistic scenes such as the part when the mother and father start excessively drinking and swearing at each other. I will admit that I was forced to watch this movie during my Chinese project, so maybe that is why I hated it so much. I really did struggle to finish it though; while watching, I wanted to dig a hole and hide in it for a while. It's okay though, it wasn't that bad. It was just really really bad.
