Robin Northern Girl

I remember the original TV series but I'm not basing my review on a comparison between this version and the original. We are much more sophisticated now because of the plethora of futuristic movies and TV series. The characters in this series aren't realistic in their actions and dialogue considering the situation they find themselves in. The alien planet they crashed on is very far from their home and their destination yet the young family members act like they're still at home, shooting childish insults at each other instead of freaking out because of their situation. The female characters wear makeup! So unbelievable. Who, in this setting, would bother to put on makeup when they should be trying to figure out how to survive attacks by alien creatures and get off the planet! If the writers would put themselves into the shoes of these castaways they might write better dialogue and have better story lines that are more realistic.
