The movie Mulan and the character that Mulan has is inspiring and amazing. In many of the Disney princess movies the girls are all wearing dresses, end up marrying princes, have to act like a proper girl and the girl is always seen like she is lucky to have the prince or she is treated less than the man and she has to act a certain way. Again this is not all of the Disney princess movies, just in my opinion most of them. Mulan shows that she can be strong and than women/girls can do just as much as men. It shows the courage and strength inside of us. It’s a major girl power movie and I love the message. This is a movie that I would definitely show any girl, it proves they don’t have to be girly or like that stuff, they can fight and be strong. Along with Mulan being Chinese, almost all of the Disney princess are white blonde or brown haired girls. I love that Mulan is Asian and Disney is making more diverse main charterers. Although if they were to make another Disney princess, I think it would be really nice to have a princess with maybe not the ideal body type seeing that all the previous Disney princess have been skinny, semi tall and wear pretty dresses. If they could have a princess with maybe not the ideal body type, a different taste in clothing and just look a bit different I think that would be inspiring. This was one of my favorite movies growing up and I would 100% recommend. It gives an amazing message and I love it!
