LEISURE by William Henry Davies was a wakeup call to me. When I learnt this poem in school I realised how important it is to take time off my busy study schedule and relax. Even today I remember certain lines and recite it to myself. I especially liked the last two lines... "A poor life this is if, full of care. We have no time to stand and stare!" Thank you William Henry Davies. T

The poem Daffodils by William Wordsworth is unforgettable. I remember learning it in school. It always lifted my spirits high especially since I lived in the countryside at Belgaum. We had a garden full of flowers of every tint & hue & fruit trees. .. any number. My special thanks go to my granddad Mr. Lewis Sequeira who was fond of gardening & who gave us an insight as to how awesome our Creator is!

For the Fallen , a poem by Laurence Binyon was the first poem I recited for an elocution competition when I was in the 8th standard at St. Joseph's Convent, Belgaum. The audience enjoyed my recital of the poem and I received much applause for the same. My thanks are for my dad Mr. Philip Pinto who trained me for this recital.
