By far the most impacting Anime with subtle messages behind scenes. You need watch the series at least twice to understand more. Not saying that it is the best Anime out there but I'd give them 9/10 recommendation, 10/10 for the OST, 8/10 for the character design and visual effects, and 8/10 on the 'End-of-the-world' type of plot that is interesting and not so cliche. Why I did not agree with them being the best Anime - GC was not adapted from a Manga because they don't have one. The plot could only fit in to 1 season and does not make room for a continuation of the series. The ending is really the end. Just a little tip to be attentive to the ending. I was greatly impacted by it and I'm sure all of you will be. I think it's the best that they kept it to 1 season. But this way GC might be easily forgettable.
