Probably the best Change Management Handbook on the market if you are looking for a honest and practical organisational change management implementation.
The book is structured around the a2B Change Management Framework which focuses on change program delivery. Step one starts with defining the change (is it aligned with the organisation strategy) through Step 10, sustaining and closing the change.
Each of the ten man chapters start with a true case study outlining organisational change and people challenges (employees and leaders), then key change concept that everyone should be aware off. One of my favorite was organisation not having any change capacity but trying to do 10 transformation programs!!!
Each chapter includes: checklists, critical tools, models, plans, roadmaps, assessments, etc that support change implementation. There is a detailed glossary, bibliography and supporting material.
Too many other books discuss change concepts that are not relevant to organisational change management. Sad this other stuff is still pushed, but it does explain why 70% of change programme fail.
I recommend this author and his refreshing approach to change.
