I find it disappointing that on the 50th anniversary (November 14, 1970) of the tragic day when thirty-seven members of Marshall University's football team, eight coaches and 25 supporters were killed when their chartered jet crashed on approach to Tri-State Airport outside Huntington, West Virginia, returning home from a game; that College GameDay will be in Augusta, Georgia, the site of the Masters Golf tournament. I am not a Marshall graduate or a fan of the Thundering Herd, but with Marshall currently ranked 16th in the current AP Poll, playing at home on the anniversary of such a horrific event in college football's history, I feel like this is a disrespectful missed opportunity for ESPN.
