Slim Ginni

I watched this as a kid and rewatching it now in 2023. Still good. This show was the black mirror of anime. It highlights the worst traits of humanity and makes you empathize with the victims. The soundtracks are brilliant and if you genuinely watch the show with interest, will make you feel the rage and anger the victims feel. Watch it in japanese with subtitles. The english dub unfortunately could not replicate the same vibe and feeling of Ai Enma's voice. Her dialogue, '一遍... 死んで見る？(Ippen... shinde miru?)' always raises the hair on my neck. Maybe don't binge watch it, you'll probably get desensitized to all the revenge plot in the show and might feel it is repetitive. The show also draws inspiration from japanese folklore and I definitely had fun googling all that and going down that rabbit hole. This was and still is a great concept. 10/10
