A great example of the absolute cringeworthy garbage of the Australian film industry. Full of anachronisms and histrorical inaccuracies, the movie is set in 1893, and is hideously based on the famous short story of the same name. When the author makes reference to injuries from the boer war, it becomes clear that the author is uneducated in history and has no love of accuracy or truth telling.
Peg like actors stumble along a violent and confusing plot, seemingly written by a mixed gaggle of poorly educated school children.
The only saving grace to the film are the excellent cinematic techniques.
