It's Michael Clarke Duncan's masterpiece. What an acting, it outweiged way beyond Tom Hanks's performance.

I stopped watching it because of the first stupid encounter scene. May change it if the rest of the direction is any better

Over complicated! Just making it complex will not make it interesting.

It's so tough to bring a fresh horror theme these days and this movie has actually succeeded in this. It's a really good one, let be the picturisation or script 👌👌!

5 star to Kalairani, Muthukumar, Naren, George Maryan and the kid (Arya's daughter) John Kokken and Askwin Kumar also did a good job. Otherwise, lots of senseless scenes, poor acting from the hero heroine. Hope things will get better in the next season, if there is one. In the middle of the hell world, hero reunites with family and chit chats and shows no hurry to escape, and then suddenly reminds everyone, "we have to escape from here". What a brilliant person! The hero always instead of secretly rescuing his family, just yells his wife and kid's name and all those creatures aroud goes deff. You should not add violence just for the sake of having it, there should be some logic. The super skilled combat team will only shoot below neck and no head shot ever, lol! I think that was some cost cutting, if facial makeup is damaged and they have to go for a retake it will be difficult🤣

കേരളത്തിൻ്റെ ചരിത്രത്തിൽ തന്നെ വളരെ പ്രസക്തമായ ഒരു വിഷയം ആണ് 2018 flood. The incident witnessed not just the unity of people within kerala, but flow of humanity from all across the world and the resilience and will power of our people. The movie has not included even 1/100 th of the events and incidents happened around it. What I didn't like about the movie: 1. The first half was totally wasted on some irrelevant romance and cliche village bustle. 2. The writer/director has not done any homework at all and does not show anything beyond what a common "insta reel news reader" would know. 3. The fishermen were the heroes undoubtedly, but there were numerous other heroes from distinct walks of life who selflessly worked day and night. That includes health workers, fire force team, police force and numerous other officials and NGOs. 4. Nothing on the support from non residential keralites and non-keralites. 5. The students and the youth population did not just created WhatsApp groups as the movie shows. They built an entire network of relief and help lines and supported very much on the technical front too. 6. He totally missed the chilling moments for eg, people came out to greet the fishermen throughout their way back home etc. Simply put, the graphics and VFX are good, but the director simply failed to bring in the essence of the incident. I wish Ashik Abu directed this and made it a brilliant one as the "Virus"

The movie and in particular Bala's acting is so damn funny. His face is so emotionless like a rock except for the cringy smile he make😭 but, if you wanna laugh more read the positive reviews below.

It's a wonderful movie, a well learnt and written script. The directors of mass movies like Beast/Valimai should feel ashamed seeing how well written and fool proof even the non-mass movies like Keedam are.

It's an amazing film. Each one of them has acted really well. I was able to really feel their pain. Great work!
