Dont get confused by my rating this is merely personal. This game seems to have a lot going for it and a unique combat system but I just couldn't really hop on board with it. As an avid Dark Souls and Bloodborne player it's just really hard to hop into a game like this. The game doesnt flow nearly as nice as a souls game but I really just blame myself for not liking it. The game itself like I said has a unique combat system but the dodging doesnt feel very responsive and it is pretty difficult to fight multiple enemies at once. (I know the game is difficult in general as it is supposed to be but it's just annoyingly difficult and doesnt feel responsive to me) I'd only suggest this game to someone if they dont play any souls games often because in that case it could be a unique (and probably very fun) experience.

SPOILERS .... Listen, if you really dislike this game because of the narrative and characters you're a child and i mean that in the nicest way possible. This game is probably my favorite game of all time. I feel the approach is very realistic in terms of gameplay animations and story. Although Joel did die abruptly in the begining of the game I thought it fair and interesting because i feel naughty dog could not connect the first game without something tramatic as Abby's backstory/connection to Joel and Ellie's thurst for revenge once he is killed. You really gotta come into this game ready for anything to happen to your favorite characters. Also, i dont believe Abby is transgender at all, she is just ripped. Say it to her face and she'll give you the dukes. Now quit being a baby, grow up, and let go.
