I loved the animated Lion King and I loved this version of it as well. It’s a different perspective, more realism, so we don’t necessarily have the exact same emotional reaction for as we know, real and animation are two different perspectives. It’s also about our own imagination, interpretation, and open-mindedness that Disney allows us to experience, to step inside and be there, another Classic Disney mindset. I guess we can either decide to sit back and be entertained or critique when we weren’t part of the creative process. I chose to be entertained and thank you for the experience! This movie has touched 4 generations in my family and we all embrace it! It’s another Disney family experience!
