I did not enjoy this movie at all, not one bit. I am black, married to someone of color/biracial, and the son of immigrants and I found this movie disingenuous, unrelatable, and out of touch with reality. It was exactly what I thought it was going to be, pure propaganda. It came off too racist to the audience it was trying to attract. The Cheaper by the Dozen movies of the 2000s were way better. Those movies were just more fun to watch, they made you laugh, and had a moral to the story. They were a better family movie. Even Gabrielle Union, as amazing as she is could not save this movie. Never showing this version of Cheaper by the Dozen to my kids, but I will definitely explain to them what it is (propaganda) and what it is trying to do (misrepresent) so they are aware of this if they decide to watch it on their own when they are grown. I would give this movie a half star if I could.
