I was addicted to Resogun, and then, Nex-Machina had my brother and I fighting over who's turn on the PS4 it was, when I heard there was a new Housemarque game coming out I knew I had to play it. Finally got a PS5 and all I can say is YES!! It's as good as I predicted and probably better because I've only just started the first level. I highly recommend playing through Resogun and NexMachina to fully appreciate this studios talents. Cant wait to get home tonight and boot up my new PS5 and play Returnal some more.
I remember during short segments of Nexmachina where the camera switches from overhead to ground level third person view and thinking how cool the whole game would be like that.
I got my wish. *
