The way naughtydog has handled the story is borderline awful.It's introduction of new characters seem forced ,they have no personality, no charisma, the first game was bleak yes but we could someway relate to its characters especially ellie. However in the second game we forced into this horrible messy petty cycle of "revenge" with no payoff for our efforts at the end. please save your money for something you would enjoy.
