"Shaolin Soccer" tells the stereotypical and by the numbers underdog story in a hilarious, untraditional and fresh manner. I've never laughed at a movie so hard prior to watching this. The film is blatantly satirical of sports and kung fu movies, from the effects to the choreography to the music to the writing. This movie is on the level of Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" in terms of hilarity, yet "Shaolin Soccer" is actually trying to be funny. All in all, a great film for the whole family with great satire and cheesy moral lessons.
