Raw, Heavy and Exhilarating: Attempts by a group of villagers to trace out a wild Buffalo that escapes from its slaughterers end up in a journey which reveals the wilderness residing inside them and perhaps inside each of us... the movie vociferously mocks at and subtly erases the differentiating line between man and animal which we often claim to have garnered, through ages of evolution and civilization...it vehemently reminds that we still share the same primordial instincts and wilderness from the forests ready to be unleashed anytime...the movie goes to such extremes in the climax where its shown that even when the wild buffalo stops its rampage and stands still, humans disagree to shed off their animosity..the climax shows the village men jumping on the animal and on each other in a wild frenzy to claim their share of meat from the overpowered creature, without minding whether it's animal or their fellow being... a deeply disturbing theme brilliantly crafted to present an unique cinematic experience to be had in theatres only.. raw and intimidating to the core...

The movie is set in a rustic background which portrays the hero as an apostle of arranged marriages who vehemently shuns love marriages and love altogether. Through some flashback scenes, the reason for hero’s hatred towards love marriages and his transformation to a cocky marriage broker who does everything to ensure smooth conduct of marriages arranged by him is attempted to be justified. From here-on the movie attempts to re-create the same village mood and comic moments attempted in the earlier flick by the director with mostly the same cast and crew. However when the earlier attempt unfurled to be a complete entertainer the new one seem to be just an imitation with most of the scenes feeling to be half baked. The movie feels to be made just to preach a single message - “Girl’s Consent is Must In any Marriage” which is tiringly repeated by many characters in the movie but doesn’t have any relevant scenes which forces the viewers to think on the importance of the same. The screenplay seems to be hastily written leaving the viewer clueless on what the film actually wants to convey.. for example there is a scene in the start where a girl who gets married without her consent vociferously expressing her disapproval to the hero which is in total agreement with the movie’s theme, but later the same girl is portrayed as a comic character living with what the hero calls a supposedly happy family which totally undermines the theme.. Barring a few laughs here and there, the movie is full of such shabby scenes unlike the early venture of the same team which had a solid screenplay with coherent scenes and incidents..
