Raw, Heavy and Exhilarating:
Attempts by a group of villagers to trace out a wild Buffalo that escapes from its slaughterers end up in a journey which reveals the wilderness residing inside them and perhaps inside each of us... the movie vociferously mocks at and subtly erases the differentiating line between man and animal which we often claim to have garnered, through ages of evolution and civilization...it vehemently reminds that we still share the same primordial instincts and wilderness from the forests ready to be unleashed anytime...the movie goes to such extremes in the climax where its shown that even when the wild buffalo stops its rampage and stands still, humans disagree to shed off their animosity..the climax shows the village men jumping on the animal and on each other in a wild frenzy to claim their share of meat from the overpowered creature, without minding whether it's animal or their fellow being... a deeply disturbing theme brilliantly crafted to present an unique cinematic experience to be had in theatres only.. raw and intimidating to the core...
