This was made for the fans. My wife and I have loved these games for years, and we geeked out the whole time. It isn't for everyone and if you're entirely unfamiliar with the source material it could be confusing or muddled. But for those of us that have loved it for decades, it was wonderful. Worst part was the "everyman generic hero" Cole Young. But, that's sort of a necessary evil when introducing a franchise like this. But, it was still a joy to watch.
