Hannah Hickman

I unfortunately was so disappointed in this movie. I've grown up reading this book series and was over the moon when I found out this movie was in the making. I understand having to change some things to make it translate easier to the movie but the ENTIRE plot was completely changed, characters were missing, characters motivations/backstories were all wrong and new characters were made up. The books do such a great job of bringing a magical world to life with a modern take on it. This movie I truly believed could have been the next Harry Potter but it fell drastically short. I guess it could be a good movie if you've never read and fell in love with the book series but for me there's way to many drastic changes to hold any resemblance of bringing the books to life.
