I honestly believe that Luke is fighting with his gay inner self. I think he's gay and there isn't anything wrong with that but it is wrong to hurt this beautiful young lady who's doing her best to prove herself to be a good wife. It seems that Luke has literally taken this experimental show as an experiment to prove to himself that he is not gay.
