i went to watch this in 2005 when it was first released it was and is a superb piece of cinematic history, i have not seen a better documentary or film since then that i can hold in higher regard(blue planet comes in a close second) it is both entertaining and inciteful, as someone who has a love for penguins (favorite animal) i can not express enough gratitude towards the people who made it possible for this movie to be made, to my assumption this made way for classic films such as happy feet and surfs up which brought them further into the public eye which is both a good and bad thing.
global warming is destroying their natural habitat the ice caps are melting and the ozone layer is disappearing it is my belief that penguins and other such wonderful creatures of the arctic will be extinct within the next few generations, we should take this opportunity to change how we treat our planet and stop relying on cars and other such things to ferry us to and from our places of employment, shopping centers and many other places, we should walk when we are able or cycle if said person is able to and rely on public transport for the elderly and disabled.
overpopulation is a big cause for global warming since people are living a lot longer nowadays than they were even 50 years ago we cant keep up with amount of homes people need, since we are in a pandemic(covid-19) there have been thousands upon thousands of people dying daily we cant keep up with the need for cemetery plots or places to store the deceased.
like i said at the beginning of this review march of the penguins is a wonderful movie/documentary that will make you cry and leave a smile on your face
