I watched the first two episodes with my Mom last Sunday & we both loved it! Everything on this show is top notch from the acting, the directing, the production value to the beautiful costumes & visuals. This is how a fantasy show should be made. You have to give Amazon Prime credit for having the guts to take on such an epic production & pour a billion dollars into it, because from what I've seen so far, it is worth every dollar. I appreciate the time they take with introducing us to the characters & this world. I've heard & read complaints that the episodes are too slow, but I don't mind the slow-burn approach they are taking. That's how an epic works. It unfolds slowly like a novel & you know the pay off will be worth it in the end. This would be an excellent starting point for viewers that haven't read the books or seen the six films. Anyway, looking forward to this week's episode. I hope you are too.

My mom & I saw "Longlegs at the theater a few weeks back & to our surprise we both loved it. And my mom is usually not a fan of horror movies, but she took an exception to this one as it reminded us of "Silence of the Lambs" "Manhunter" & "Hannibal", although Lee Harker is more Will Graham than Clarice Starling. Nicolas Cage is at his absolute wacky best here as Longlegs, although Longlegs has more in common here with Tom Nonnan's portrayal of "The Tooth Fairy" in "Manhunter" than he does Hannibal Lecter. Also, Sabrina Spellman herself, Kiernan Shipka makes a small, but pivotal cameo that will sed shivers down your spine. What makes this more effective is that there are no jump-scares, no loud crashing noises, no style over substance. Just good old-fashioned slow-burn suspense. And it was actually scary. A true horror classic. Its' success is well deserved.

My mom & I are currently watching the shows' first season & we are finding the alternate timeline very interesting as it asks: What if the Nazis won World War II? How would our world be different? The results are both fascinating & disturbing as we are introduced to a world devoid of humanity or creative thought. There is only serving the Reich & the State. Wonder how this season is going to end. We can't wait to find out.

Saw "Kingdom" with my mother on Saturday & we both loved it. The storyline was great, the performances were top notch. The visuals & CGI were amazing! Loved all the callbacks & Easter Eggs to the previous "Apes" films & TV shows. I highly recommend it. We had fun seeing it.

My Mom & I watched the first episode & it was a pleasant surprise. It was wild, it was strange, it was also kinds of awesome. Looking forward to more episodes. So glad it has been renewed for another season.

Just binged watched the entire first season in one day on Blu-Ray &it was excellent. Everything was top notch from the visuals to the set design, the acting, the writing & the directing. Be on the look out for scene-stealing performances from "Doctor Who" alumni Jenna Colman & "Game of Thrones" Gwendoline Christy. Highly recommend for lovers of the fantasy & supernatural genres.

I remember watching the third season of "True Detective" a long time ago & just being enthralled with the show. Strange, beautiful. disturbing & fascinating at the same time. Really looking forward to season 4 with Jodie Foster. The trailer looks great!

The original "Quantum Leap" is such a classic. I own all five seasons on Blu Ray. It is fun, entertaining & has a great cast of characters & actors. A must-see for any Sci-Fi Fan.

I love the new "Quantum Leap." It is just as fun & entertaining as the classic era of the show despite the new characters. These two new seasons are unofficially the 6th & 7th seasons of the show. The fact that it's been brought back & is doing well in the ratings is simply a miracle. I hope the show runs forever.

I saw "Barbie over the weekend & it was a wonderful surprise. It make some candid observations about gender roles & how we humans treat each other. It also was surprisingly tender & emotional too. Well, worth the watch.
