I wished they payed tribute to Gene Wilder with a "For Gene" credit at the end. Timothee Chalamet, who portrayed Mr. Wonka in this movie, shared some of Gene Wilder's mannerisms and expressions, which broght tears of joy to my eyes. For a second several times throughout the movie, I could've swore that was Wilder in the film...just for a second. Uncanny. The movie was remarkable. I only wished there was more to watch. Seeing this prequel to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was like something out from a dream. And bringing back the classic songs from the original was a nice touch. Pure Imagination was one of those songs that truly touched my heart. I'll watch it again sometime.
