I simply wish, they'd kept JJ on for all three of the films. I believe this would have kept the storylines flowing and this movie wouldn't have been so rushed due to the extremely large changes Rian Johnson made in The Last Jedi. There were way too many plot points and questions, opened, destroyed, unexplained, etc that there was so and way too much to cover in this movie. In the end, I was left feeling empty and sad. All of the beloved characters were dead and the redeemed Ben Solo was left with 2 minutes of screen time and again was dead. The movie was so long et it felt like nothing was accomplished with Rose, Finn, and Poe and yet they thought that bringing in even more new characters was a good idea? There was no time for anything to settle in, no time for you to learn about said new characters to the point that you didn't really care about them, it was just scene after scene, making the entire movie hard to even remember. I look back at scenes and go "that happened?" or "wait, when did that happen?". If it weren't for Ben Solo's shift from Kylo to Ben I would'nt know what to do with this movie. That character and Rey carried this entire trilogy on their backs.
